Commitment to accessibility

As a consultancy who provide consulting services and training to businesses on accessibility and inclusivity, we need to practice what we preach. Consulting Ltd is committed to making its website accessible to ensure that it is usable by everybody, regardless of age or disability.

We aim to make the website compliant with “Web Content Accessibility” Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA with good usability practices.

Using Our Site

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This means that you can:

  • Change contrast levels
  • Zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen
  • The text will reflow in a single column when you change the size of your browser window
  • Navigate the website using just a keyboard

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

Known limitations

Whilst we try to maintain a high standard of accessibility on our website, there are some known limitations. These are documented below:

  • Some videos may not have captions
  • We do not provide audio descriptions for videos

We are in the process of auditing the website and fixing issues that we may find, some of which include issues with the site navigation and some third-party forms, which are manually coded to make them accessible.

Third-party content and functionality

Sections of our website use services or applications provided by third party companies, not all of which are fully compliant with the standards reached across the rest of our website. This includes certain features within our Video Player and forms for data capture.

We have worked hard with these providers, and continue to do so, to drive up accessibility standards of these services or applications, ultimately – and most importantly – to improve the overall user experience of our website.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

Our accessibility journey is continuing. We perform periodic ongoing manual accessibility tests and testing with assistive technology. Whenever we get feedback from native users of assistive technology, we respond promptly and address any issues.
